Subjects Taught
Special Education

I received my Bachelors degree from Martin Methodist College where I studied Religion and Psychology. I received my Masters in Special Education from Grand Canyon University and a second Masters from Grand Canyon in Instructional Technology.

This is my third year teaching. I worked as a Special Education Teaching Assistant for three years in Shelbyville. I taught grades 3-5 CDC for one year and now I am teaching grades K-2 still in the special education setting.

I am originally from Manchester. My parents and grandparents all live here. I met my husband at Martin Methodist College in Pulaski and we got married a year after we graduated. We have three beautiful children who have come to College Street with me. Elizabeth is in the fifth grade, Sarah is in second grade and Cole is in first grade. My husband's name is Jonathan and he teaches and coaches at Grundy County High School. I am excited about this year and think we will have a great time.
