Education is the gateway to all things that we are and do!  We are learning every day of our lives in forms like newspapers, magazine, on the job training, or school.  Without educating ourselves, we are holding ourselves back from all that we could one day be!  As your child/children come into my classroom, I hope that your child/children will gain an education from many different resources, but I hope that your child will also be educated in ways that will help them in every area of life!

My teaching experience started in the 2011-2012 school year.  I have been very blessed to be able to teach for a principal that is very student driven and colleagues that strive to make College Street the best school possible.  I know that with such good colleagues and administration that I can only continue to improve as a teacher!

I was born in Oxford, Mississippi on June, 26 1986.  My Mom, Dad, Brother, and I lived there until I was two years old.  We then moved to Waycross, Georgia, and that was where my little sister was born.  Six months later my Dad got a new job, and we moved to Hillsboro, TN.  I started elementary school there and continued in the Coffee County School System until I graduated in 2004.  After a few years, I decided that the easiest way to make a difference in the lives around me was to become a teacher. In 2011, I graduated from Tennessee Tech with a Multidisciplinary Studies- Elementary Education degree.  I then was very blessed to start my career at College Street.
